Dance Moms: Season 1

Because Julie and I are glutton for punishment, we decided that we should enroll Emmy & Abby in a two day dance camp here in town.  In theory, it sounded like a great idea.  For $25 dollars, the girls would get to go to dance camp for two mornings and leave with valuable dancing experience and a t-shirt to boot.  Needless to say, that is not exactly how it went down in reality.



They were probably a little too young for an undertaking like this, so we spent both mornings feeling embarrassed by our two bad little divas that ran around the dance studio while everyone else participated and followed along.  In fairness to the divas, the class had children ranging from three to 18, so it wasn't as if anyone expected the fifteen-year-old kids to be running around the room.





They sure knew how to rock snack time though!



Back to goofing off!



The people were all very nice, but in the end, we decided to put everyone out of their misery and we left early the second day and took the girls swimming.



This is definitely more our style.

Jessica & Dan's Wedding

Bradley's brother got married in Burnett on a ranch a couple of weeks ago.  I was the photographer and you can view the pictures here.

Here are some pictures of our family and some of the beautiful details that this awesome couple put together.  I think that Jessica and I need to get together and craft because I can tell that she must be a pinterest queen too!

From previous posts, you have probably gleaned that Emmy likes to dance.  Well dance floor dancing at weddings is her favorite!

Back to the dance floor!  This time Emmy was grooving with Christopher.





Then she moved on to dance with Grandma Susan.



She danced with Uncle Beau too.  I snapped this one because it was the first time they had ever met.



And of course a girl has to get a dance with her Daddy.  I love these two so much!



Shortly afterwards, Miss Emmy went home with Grandma and GrandBob so her dancing shoes were put away.  We stayed until after 2:00 A.M. (What! What!)  Apparently we still know how to party sometimes!  It was a beautiful wedding, and we are so very happy for Jessica and Daniel.
