Last Fling Before the (School) Bells Ring! {Part 1}

My cousin planned a vacation to San Antonio for her birthday.  She spent a whole week seeing the sights and visiting cool places.  Friday afternoon, Bradley, Emmy, and I headed down to SA town to meet up with them.

We had a blast.

We did so many fun things while we were there that I had never done in San Antonio.  They had a suite at a hotel in downtown San Antonio, so they wanted us to stay with them.  It was like a big slumber party.  Both of the little girls were running around the room playing and giggling.

The first day we took the little girls swimming as soon as we got there.  The water was a little cold because the swimming pool was on the shady side of the hotel in the evening.  They still had fun!

After dinner, we all loaded up and went to a restaurant  that was featured on Man V. Food called Big Lou's Pizza.  We ordered a 36 inch pizza for the six of us.  We were ambitious when we were looking at the menu, and we really wanted to order the 42 inch pizza.  The cashier had a "come to Jesus" meeting with us and we decided that we would just get the smaller one instead.  It was still HUGE!

I don't know how I did it, but I managed to eat two whole slices and the toppings off of another slice. By the time we were ready to leave, I was so full that the hypochondriac inside of me began to wonder what happens if your stomach ruptures.  Emmy and Marlee chowed down too. Bradley was the winner of the evening polishing off three whole slices.

It was a really neat experience, and right before we were going to leave, the waitress came out and showed us a pizza they make that isn't on the menu.  That pizza is 60 inches folks.  CRAZY!  Wendy and I of course needed to take a picture by the pan.

Stay tuned for Part Two! :)
