We headed back to Magic Kingdom for more magical family fun! This was definitely our favorite park, and if we had spent three more days here, I don't think we would have gotten bored. There were so many things that we still didn't do.
We got to the world a little later than we had the other mornings because of our character breakfast, but we still only arrived about 45 minutes after rope drop. Still plenty of time to get some of our favorite rides in before the heavy crowds hit. Because it was Dad's first day, we rode the ferry across.
Emmy was in a great mood after breakfast with Pluto and Minnie.
Overnight the whole place had been transformed from Magic Kingdom into Christmas Wonderland at Magic Kingdom. It was amazing!
The decorations were beautiful.
While the rest of the family took Emmy over to Fantasyland to ride Dumbo, I went to fetch FastPasses for Fairytale Hall. I took a chance to take photos of some of the scenery while I was on my own.
Finally I made it to Fantasyland. I absolutely love all of the renovations that they have made since my last trip. It is truly magical.
I took a lot of photos of Dumbo since it was Emmy's favorite attraction.
Who am I kidding though? We all loved it. Her enthusiasm was infectious.
Next up was riding the Winnie the Pooh ride and pictures with Tigger and Pooh.
Tigger saw Emmy's crown and decided that Pooh needed one as well. Too cute!
Next up was our FastPasses with the Princesses.
Emmy knew who Cinderella was as soon as we walked into the room.
She said hello to "Seeping Beauty." I tried not to laugh and Aurora Rose handled the situation with the expected level of grace and understanding.
At the time, we were not really into Tangled, but I am SO GLAD that we got this picture. In the time since, it has become an OBSESSION for Emmy. When we looked back at the photos, Emmy yelled Rapunzel!!
Lastly, we made the acquaintance of the lovely Snow White. She was really good with Emmy and spent several minutes talking with her before they took any photos. I am sure the people behind us in line were annoyed, but we thought it was amazing!
Our next stop was at the Mad Tea Party.
Then we took a ride through the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.
Nana was wrapped around Emmy's finger. When she decided that she didn't want to ride in the stroller, Nana was all too happy to obliged her by carrying her around.
Finally she passed out and took a nap. Not that I am saying she was getting grumpy or needed a nap. I would never say that. Or write it.
While she was out, we had lunch at Casey's Corner again. It was fantastic!
The little princess woke up again, and we decided to get a few pictures of her in her princess dress on Mainstreet before we changed her into her Minnie Mouse dress.
She was all smiles...in the beginning anyway.
In the blink of an eye, it all changed. (I think it was due to the withholding of Smarties, but one can't be sure)
In a flash, she was back!
Then we changed clothes, so we could take some family photos by the castle for our Christmas card.
Our fantastic photographer agreed to let me test the lighting on her. Isn't she a most beautiful subject?
Then we were in business!
This one was my favorite. Although it isn't the best ones of me, I really love the way Emmy looks in it.
This is the look that I get from her on a daily basis. I can only imagine how much power that one little smile wields.
Next it was time to go visit Mickey again. He greeted Emmy with open arms.
Next it was time to go visit Daisy and Minne.
Then Donald and Goofy were on our social calendar.
One more ride on Dumbo and a little break in the indoor play area and we were ready to go home.
The castle was all lit up for Christmas, and they even had a special fireworks show to commemorate the occasion.
We left the park soon after to meet Papa at the hotel. It was a magical day for everyone big and small. Next up is our day at Hollywood Studios.
